Wearing a traditional black and gold Malay outfit (Baju Melayu and samping) and headgear, Khan received the title of “Datuk” (equivalent to British Knighthood) from the governor of Malaysia’s southern Malacca state.

Ghajini is the Hindi adaptation of the critically acclaimed film Memento by Christopher Nolan, with the common theme of the protagonist suffering from anterograde amnesia or short term memory loss and seeking revenge for his wife’s murder. Ghajini will feature Aamir Khan, Asin Thottumkal and Jiah Khan in lead roles and will be directed by A. R. Murugadoss, who also directed the Tamil version of the film in 2005.

Film Overview: Aditya Chopra’s third directorial venture after eight years, “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” starring Shah Rukh Khan, will remind audiences of the magic touch that has made “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” the longest running motion picture in Indian cinema history.
